MS-179

The MS-179 is a portable muscle stimulation system for use in the clinic, home or sports facility. As a battery or A/C powered instrument, the MS-179 works by transmitting electrical impulses through the skin surface to the nerves that cause muscle contractions which are very effective in the treatment of many acute and chronic conditions.

The MS-179 is a 4 channel 8 pad system housed in an attractive and sturdy carrying case for use as an office instrument and portable therapy unit. It is powered by 4 "D" cells (not included) or with the A/C adapter and is designed with reliability and comfort in mind. The MS-179 System incorporates pre-programmed pulse train rise and fall times which cause a gradual buildup of the electrical stimulus instead of a sharp and sudden pulse. This results in greatly increased patient comfort and compliance. The device is widely used in Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Therapy, Sports Medicine, Chiropractic and Podiatry.
